Marriage is to help married people sanctify themselves and others. For this reason, they receive a special grace in the sacrament which Jesus instituted. Those who are called to the married state will, with the grace of God, find within their state everything they need to be holy.

The Diocese of Raleigh's Marriage Preparation Workshop is designed for engaged couples to attend together. Pre-registration is required. Space is limited and the cost is $100 per couple.
Civilly married couples seeking to convalidate their marriage in the Catholic Church should speak with their pastor and are welcome to attend one of the marriage preparation workshops.
