Stewardship

As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace.

- 1 Peter 4:10

A Christian steward requires more than safeguarding material and human resources and using them responsibly. A Christian steward is grateful and open to receiving God's gifts. He or she cultivates these gifts responsibly, shares these gifts lovingly with others, and returns these gifts with increase to the Lord. A Christian steward does not expect anything in return, but instead joyfully offers their time, talent, and treasure for the good of the Church.
