The Grief Support Ministry is committed to providing support, fellowship, hope, and healing for anyone mourning the loss of a loved one. The ministry offers 6-8-week sessions throughout the year. Each meeting consists of prayer, watching a video, discussion/sharing (if you choose), and fellowship. The material used is derived from "Grieving with Great Hope," a Catholic resource program that teaches practical and personal approaches to grief through prayer and fellowship. The purpose of these sessions is to learn ways to treasure the memory of a loved one, reestablish healthy relationships, and find joy in life again.
The ministry is led by people who have experienced grief and will walk with you on the path toward healing. There is no specific timeline to heal, but "Grieving with Great Hope" provides a helpful starting point in the "fork in the road" of your life's journey.

The Legion of Mary (LOM) is the largest apostolic organization of lay people in the Catholic Church with over 3 million active members around the world. LOM has been active in the United States since 1931, has known continuous Papal approval, and was endorsed by the Second Vatican Council.
Members of the Legion of Mary engage in door-to-door evangelization, parish visitation projects, youth work, and other spiritual needs of the parish and community. It provides Catholics, 8 years and up, the opportunity to do something positive for the Church while simultaneously deepening their spiritual life and strengthening their Catholic faith.
Members meet once a week for prayer, planning, and discussion, and complete a couple of hours of definite work each week in pairs and under the guidance of a spiritual director. There is a three month "easing-in period" for individuals interested in becoming a member of LOM. During this time, individuals can see how their work or family obligations blend with the tried and proven system of the Legion.
