Ms. Yeager was born in Nebraska, but spent her childhood in Arlington, Texas. Ms. Yeager attributes her strong Catholic faith to her family, especially her grandparents who took her to Mass every day.
Ms. Cecilia Yeager attended Galileo Magnet High School in Danville, Virginia and went on to pursue a bachelor's degree in communications with a minor in English from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. After graduating in 2016, she worked as a graduate assistant and completed a master's program at Averett University in Danville, Virginia, earning an MBA with a concentration in marketing in 2019.
While working on her degrees, she was involved with Catholic Campus Ministry at both Old Dominion University and Averett University. Before coming to St. Mark, she served as the Communications Coordinator at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Danville, Virginia.
Ms. Yeager has worked in ministry since she was 15. She has served on several retreat teams, such as Discovery and Christian Awakening in the Diocese of Richmond in Virginia, and continues to pursue opportunities that will broaden and strengthen her faith.
What she finds most rewarding about her job is the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life and learn more about their faith journey.
Ms. Yeager believes St. Mark is a unique place because of the resilience of the community and everyone's willingness to come together to support each other in times of need and celebration.

Her nickname is "Cici," which she gave herself in the 2nd grade.
She played volleyball in high school and college and still enjoys the sport today.
In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, DIY/interior design projects, and going on walks.
