Ms. Anne Doyle was born in Staten Island, New York. From the age of seven, she knew she wanted to become a special education teacher. She attended St. Joseph by the Sea High School in Staten Island and later went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education/Elementary Education from Buffalo State College in Buffalo, NY.
Ms. Doyle has three adult children, four precious grandchildren, two grand dogs, three grand cats, and her own cat, Jax. She has five siblings, two brothers and two sisters. Her brother, Bill, died in 2016.
Ms. Doyle has been a parishioner at St. Mark for over 35 years and in ministry for 25 years. When she first came to St. Mark in the 1980s, she was enveloped by the welcoming spirit of the people and community, which is still felt and present today! The most rewarding part of her job is helping children and their parents learn and develop a relationship with Jesus. She finds joy in hearing a child pray and helping parents guide their children in the faith.
Ms. Doyle is also a Master Catechist with the Diocese of Raleigh and has a Montessori Certification for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
Ms. Doyle's favorite hobbies include reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

She enjoys giving tours of the church and telling stories about the history of St. Mark to children in our parish programs and students at the school.
