This year, the Diocese of Raleigh celebrates its 100th Anniversary! This special centennial celebration is a beautiful reminder of the rich history of the diocese and how over time, families and parishes have grown and shaped the course of the past, present, and future of Catholic communities across eastern and southeastern North Carolina! It's fitting that the theme of this year's Bishop's Annual Appeal is, "Learning from our History and Shaping our Future"!
The Bishop's Annual Appeal (BAA) is our opportunity as members of the larger Catholic community to have an impact on the physical and spiritual lives of our brothers and sisters in eastern North Carolina. Funds from the BAA support a wide variety of ministries across the diocese, including Catholic Charities, parish support services, Catholic communication, Catholic formation and education, seminarians and vocations, marriage, family and respect life, and many ongoing or new ministries!
We will officially kick off the BAA the weekend of February 3-4, 2024. Parishioners should have already received a BAA letter from the bishop in the mail containing more information. During BAA commitment weekends, you'll have an opportunity to decide and make your contribution while at church and/or speak with someone if you have any questions.
Our parish goal this year is $217,337. Thank you for your prayerful consideration in helping us reach it! For more information, visit https://dioceseofraleigh.org/give/baa.
