The Grief Support Ministry is committed to providing support, fellowship, hope, and healing for anyone mourning the loss of a loved one. The ministry offers 6-8-week sessions throughout the year. Each meeting consists of prayer, watching a video, discussion/sharing (if you choose), and fellowship. The material used is derived from "Grieving with Great Hope," a Catholic resource program that teaches practical and personal approaches to grief through prayer and fellowship. The purpose of these sessions is to learn ways to treasure the memory of a loved one, reestablish healthy relationships, and find joy in life again.
The ministry is led by people who have experienced grief and will walk with you on the path toward healing. There is no specific timeline to heal, but "Grieving with Great Hope" provides a helpful starting point in the "fork in the road" of your life's journey.
