Domestic Violence Shelter Christmas Collection

For many years, St. Mark parishioner, Sonya Leonard, has been making cheerful, hand-picked personal gift bags for the Domestic Violence Shelter's Annual Christmas Event using donations from this collection. The collection is for ladies, teen girls and boys (ages 15 and older), and a few men. Over 100 bags are made each year and distributed to individuals at the event. 

If you would like to donate to this collection, here are few items needed for the Christmas gift bags.

• Manicure/pedicure gift cards
• Massage gift cards
• Target or Walmart gift cards
• Grocery store gift cards
• Restaurant gift cards
• Lowes or Home Depot gift cards
• Miscellaneous gift cards
• Cash value gift cards (to use as needed)
• Dunkin' Donuts gift cards

• Jewelry (highly requested)
• Pajamas (medium and large)
• Fragrant hand soaps
• Slippers
• Perfume/cologne (new or gently used)
• Gifts
• Bath towel sets (6 needed)
• Toilet paper
• Paper towels
• Post-it notes (color)
• Boil in the bag white rice
• Stocking stuffers (i.e. candy, gum, etc.)
• Tea bags (Lipton/Luzianne decaf iced tea bags)
• Clothes (all sizes, new or gently used for men, women, children, and teens)
• Shoes (all sizes, new or gently used for men, women, children, and teens)
• Purses

• Furniture polish
