Saturday, January 4 @ 1:30PM - Bread for the Journey, Loretta Therese Brady, MA, MSW, LCSW
Of the many ways we consider the Holy Eucharist today, one concept is as "Bread to nourish us." From the time when God sent manna to His Chosen People in the desert to the days when Jesus fed thousands of his followers to the most holy event of the Last Supper to each time we receive Communion today, our God has been answering the prayer we all ask: "Our Father...give us this day our daily bread." His response is always the gift of a loving Father providing for his children. Let's consider how we might receive this gracious gift. Then, how we can demonstrate our gratitude to such an abundantly generous Father.
